Bullet Tree Falls is a village located along the Mopan River in Cayo District, Belize. This area is known for its trees! One of them is called the "Bullet Tree" hence the name of the town, and has been known to be so strong that a bullet cannot pass through it. This is a community and family oriented experience. Be prepared for full cultural immersion.

A non-refundable retreat deposit of $250 is due to reserve your retreat.

Yes! Payment plans are available with a min. of $500 per month. Final retreat investment due 60 days before the retreat starts.

Your $250 Deposit is Non Refundable and Non Transferrable. Please be sure to read your Retreat Agreement that you sign during registration for our full Cancellation Policy. Since third party vendors and resorts are paid in advance, we must adhere strictly to this policy to maintain the exceptional standards of our retreats.

Travel insurance is required to attend the retreat. You are responsible for purchasing your own travel insurance policy for the retreat, all corresponding travel expenses, and medical care abroad. If you cancel due to unforeseen illness or personal or family emergency before or during the retreat (including COVID 19, pregnancy, surgery or injury), miss part of the retreat due to travel delays, lose luggage or have a delayed luggage, or require medical care abroad, we cannot reimburse you, however your personal travel insurance policy typically can.
We have partnered with Square Mouth Travel Insurance to offer comparable market rates. Visit HERE to purchase insurance that covers the cost of your retreat investment.
Please note many travel insurance companies require you to purchase a policy within 14-21 days of any initial deposit for the trip.

Meals:
The retreat rate includes lodging, retreat activities, and three meals daily. The kitchen is family owned and sources meals daily for breakfast + dinner. The kitchen accommodates pescatarian, omnivore, vegan and vegetarian an other dietary sensitivities. All meals are served on-site with the exception of when we eat in town and lunch will be catered by Wild Roots.

Can I drink the water?
Yes. Our resort has a water treatment system in place and it is safe to brush your teeth. Drinking water is avaliable in your room, and water stations throughout the resort. We highly recommend that you bring a water bottle.
Is there a bar?
Yes, there is a bar on-site. You can charge drinks to your room.
Accommodations:
Our resort rooms have air-conditioning, windows and powerful fans to keep cool air flowing – are thoughtfully decorated and feature locally sourced mahogany furnishings, specially commissioned contemporary art and en-suite bathrooms. The body and hair care products provided in guests’ bathrooms are biodegradable and made in Belize. Beds and linens are of the highest quality.
Laundry:
A guest laundry service is available at a small additional charge so you can pack light.
Weather:
Sunny skies and cool nights.
December through May is the dry season and usually thought of as the preferred time of year to visit Belize. There are less mosquitoes and hot, dry weather this time of year, considered by locals as their Summer.
Pack a bathing suit and cover up, yoga clothes, sunblock and a big hat, hiking shoes, bug spray, and quick dry light clothes for hot and humid weather.
Will I get eaten alive by bugs?
This is a tropical area and there are bugs. Sometimes more than at other times. Our stay is during the dry season so there are typically less bugs.

Wifi and Cell Service
There is wifi service at the resort and cell service. Due to the isolated location, the signal could suffer disruptions and sometimes there are temporary power outages. Please consider this and know that there are safety measures in place.
Tips and Gratuities
At the end of the retreat, you can leave a tip for the resort cleaning and waitstaff in cash. I generally recommend $10/day at your discretion.
COVID-19
We will provide no refund or other reimbursement to you if you are unable to participate in the Retreat due to illness such as COVID 19 prior to trip departure or during the Retreat but reimbursement can typically be sought from most travel insurance policies.
Retreat Packages start at $2,200. A non-refundable retreat Deposit of $250 is due to reserve your retreat. Payment plans are available with a min payment of $500/month. Final retreat investment due 60 days before the retreat starts.
