    We’ll help coordinate shared rides from the airport or local train stations.

    Once you arrive, settle into your cozy private room, enjoy tea and light bites, and begin to unwind.

    We’ll gather in the evening for our Welcome Dinner and opening reflection circle to set intentions for your Soul Sabbatical.

  • To travel to New York from within the US, you will need a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport, or other acceptable form of identification.

    If you are coming from another country, you will need a valid passport.

  • A non-refundable retreat deposit of $400 is due to reserve your retreat.

  • Yes! Payment plans are available with a min. of $500 per month. Final retreat investment due by August 1st, 2026.

  • Your $400 Deposit is Non Refundable and Non Transferrable. Please be sure to read your Retreat Agreement that you sign during registration for our full Cancellation Policy. Since third party vendors and resorts are paid in advance, we must adhere strictly to this policy to maintain the exceptional standards of our retreats.

  • Travel insurance is required to attend the retreat that covers the cost of the retreat. You are responsible for purchasing your own travel insurance policy for the retreat, all corresponding travel expenses, and medical care abroad. If you cancel due to unforeseen illness or personal or family emergency before or during the retreat (including COVID 19, pregnancy, surgery or injury), miss part of the retreat due to travel delays, lose luggage or have a delayed luggage, or require medical care abroad, we cannot reimburse you, however your personal travel insurance policy typically can.

    We have partnered with Square Mouth Travel Insurance to offer comparable market rates. Visit HERE to purchase insurance that covers the cost of your retreat investment.

    Please note many travel insurance companies require you to purchase a policy within 14-21 days of any initial deposit for the trip.

  • Meals:

    The retreat rate includes lodging, retreat activities, daily breakfast and dinner. The kitchen accommodates pescatarian, omnivore, vegan and vegetarian, and other dietary sensitivities.

    Please specify your dietary preferences during registration.

    Can I drink the water?

    Yes, the water is safe to drink in New York.

    Accommodations:

    Our rooms all have free WiFi and air conditioning. This a luxury retreat experience. Beds and linens are of the highest quality.

    Weather:

    September is a beautiful time to retreat into the golden quiet of Upstate New York.

    The landscape softens this time of year: crisp mornings, warm afternoons, and the first hints of autumn color create an atmosphere that naturally invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect. Everything feels calm, grounded, and gently shifting toward fall.

    Expect daytime highs in the low to mid-70s with cool breezes through the trees, cozy evenings, and mornings perfect for movement, meditation, or mindful walks along forest paths. Ideal weather for slow breakfasts, reflective journaling by the fire or on the porch, and quiet moments of restoration held by the rhythm of the season.

    What about the bugs?

    There might be bugs, even if this isn’t a tropical area. Sometimes more than at other times. Pack bug stray just to be safe.

    Wifi and Cell Service

    There is wifi service and cell service, but the signal could suffer disruptions and sometimes there are temporary power outages. Please consider this and know that there are safety measures in place.

    COVID-19

    We will provide no refund or other reimbursement to you if you are unable to participate in the Retreat due to illness such as COVID 19 prior to trip departure or during the Retreat but reimbursement can typically be sought from most travel insurance policies.
